Latinas Fashion was born from a dream, a great deal of determination, and a deep passion for helping women feel confident, beautiful, and empowered.

My name is Gleyann Fontanez, founder of Latinas Fashion. I was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, and grew up in Juncos, where I learned the value of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of community. As a teenager, I moved to the United States without speaking English. Adapting to a new culture and learning a new language was a great challenge, but I was determined to build a better future through education, effort, and faith.

I graduated from Bulkeley High School in Hartford, Connecticut, and continued my studies at Capital Community College. My professional career began in social work, a profession that allowed me to help many people. However, I always carried in my heart the dream of owning my own business.

In 2014, I started selling clothing from my living room. What began as a small project grew thanks to dedication, the trust of my customers, and my genuine desire to serve the community. It was then that I discovered my true passion: combining fashion with the purpose of helping women feel beautiful, secure, and confident.

With hard work and sacrifice, I made the decision to open my first physical store in Hartford, Connecticut. Leaving the security of a traditional career was one of the most important steps of my life, but I trusted my vision and the impact I wanted to create for the women I served every day.

Today, Latinas Fashion is much more than a boutique. We specialize in Colombian shapewear, post-surgical garments, bras, and beauty products designed to enhance the confidence and well-being of every woman. Our mission remains the same as it was from day one: to empower women through quality products, personalized attention, and an experience that makes them feel special.

What started in a living room has become a business dedicated to serving and supporting women of all ages and stages of life.
